I love the themes how the king and queen sit so bold and courageous. I love the power stemming from it.
Great version of chess! I have several different versions of the game, but this is the one I find myself playing the most. I am able to easily visualize future moves playing this one.
It does not start, stops on a screen with a padlock. Uninstalled and reinstalled but still not working. My phone is a Samsung s9 plus and phone is not rooted. It says some thing about lucky patched. I do not know what this is or does it need this program to run you game. Can you give me a link to down load lucky patched if it needs. Please as i played this on a p.c. If you responded to this I can bot see it.
Considers my device rooted and refused to run. Terrible. Terrible idea to try and exclude rooted devices. Terrible response after one year.
Why did it take me so freaking long to get flying toasters on my PC? Just because we don't like apples doesn't mean we don't like toast! Do you have any idea how hard it was to scout out a legit copy that would run in Windows? Now I've got Toasters, I've got Neko the Cat, and I have chess . Still, you guys made me work SOOO hard back when I was a kid. You owe me. I expect an Easter egg with a shout out to klear6 for my effort.
went to update and the app tells me, my "device is rooted and game not allowed to be played it." mind you the dialect written was pirate. So whats up? Nothing is "pirated" at my end for sure! Love the app and the update works better now, at least on my phone. So why now on my tablet, which I've played the game mostly on, until the update today.
Several months later the Dev adds "non-rooted" I DID READ! Will not work on a rooted device. Would be nice if it said that in the details! So Dev says "play unrooted then" So maybe the Dev should say it does not work on rooted phones rather than trying to be clever! Take comments and use them maybe? Further rooting a phone at times is needed. Responding is good but don't insult people as it just hurts your rating more.....try reading the nice feedback comment stream and I'm really not bothered
Beautiful graphics for chess lovers :-) I can read many complaints about not playable on rooted devices. This is unfair to this game. Anything with rooting is the user's responsibility, not developer's one. Now that is clearly written in description that it does not work on rooted devices, I expect all rating 1 reviews to be changed to another rating. Thumbs up from me and no, I have nothing to do with developers, its just not fair to them for a well made game.
Not a root friendly app as it doesn't run if your phone is rooted. This should be clearly displayed on its description; as users may purchase the app without knowing it will not work in their phones. Response to developer: That would be none of your business buy since you asked; I just root it so as to extend Tasker functionality, one of the best apps in the market for phone automation. The are many genuine reasons to have the phone rooted. you may dislike rooted users, but at least have the decency to add a description in the game explaining so. I understand -to some extent- banking applications refusing to run on rooted devices, but a simple game? In any case, you lost a customer here as I could not even try the game I purchased. Have a great life.
